Recruit A New Member In 2012
Why not make it your New Year's resolution to introduce a colleague to the Society in 2012? The SBE's diverse membership network is one of its key assets, and our new year 'wraparound' offer means that members joining now will benefit from a first annual subscription which runs all the way through to June 2013 (i.e. up to 18 months for the price of 12). Furthermore, and as a 'thank you' from the Society to those making the introductions, any member introducing 5 new full members during the year will be entitled to a free place at dinner with the speaker of their choice following an evening meeting.
A PDF membership leaflet and application form linked below for sending to any economist colleagues who might be interested in joining the Society and taking advantage of the new year offer.
Printed brochures will also be sent out with the Yearbook later this month.

The Business Economist is the journal of the SBE. First published in 1969, it quickly established itself as an invaluable reference source and now has regular subscribers in many companies, universities and institutions in addition to members of the Society.
With articles contributed by leading experts and produced under the guidance of a panel of eminent economists The Business Economist is an indispensable guide to economics in practice.

SBE members represent a broad spectrum of business life, spanning the City, commerce and industry, consultancies, the public sector, business schools and universities.
The Society welcomes both established economists and younger members, including recent graduates and students intending to follow a career in economics.
Most professional economists will join as full members; there is a reduced subscription rate for students undertaking an undergraduate or master's degree with substantial economics content.
