| Professor Bloom will discuss the measurement of policy uncertainty
and how this appears to be stalling the recovery from the Great
Recession. He will also briefly discuss prospects for future policy
uncertainty and growth, and why the UK seems to be buffeted by European
and US policy challenges. |
| Nicholas Bloom is a Professor of Economics at Stanford University,
and a Co-Director of the Productivity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship
program at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research
focuses on management practices and uncertainty. He previously worked at
the UK Treasury and McKinsey & Company. |
