In the wake of the Stern Review, the latest IPCC report and the Bali "Roadmap", climate change and policies to address it - such as carbon pricing - are becoming increasingly important for business economists.

Andrew Sentance is working on climate change issues at Warwick University alongside his role on the Monetary Policy Committee, and would like to gauge the degree of interest within the SBE membership for a "Climate Change Interest Group" which would enable members to share information and views on this issue.

It is envisaged that the Group will operate mainly by email, though there may also be specific pages on the SBE website and occasional special meetings.
