Tony Lucking
It was with sadness that we learned of the death on 3 January 2009 of Tony Lucking, a long standing member of the Society. Our sincere sympathies and condolences go to Tony's family.

Recruit A New Member In 2009
The SBE's thriving and diverse membership network is one of its key assets, and our new year 'wraparound' offer means that members joining now will benefit from a first annual subscription which runs all the way through to June 2010 (i.e. up to 17 months, if taken out now, for the price of 12).
Furthermore, and as a 'thank you' from the Society to those making the introductions, any member introducing at least 5 new full members during the year will be entitled to a free place at dinner with the speaker of their choice following an evening meeting.

2009 Salary Survey - Please Take Part

A replacement response form is included with this mailing, and we'd be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete the 2009 questionnaire and return it to the Secretariat.
